We've all seen the images of devastation, lost property, and life that natural disasters leave behind. Many people are left with the feeling of abandonment and hopelessness. V.H.V. witnessed the necessity of education in preparedness before, and after a disaster strikes. We've seen firsthand the struggles in the recovery and building process. Victims Helping Victims Inc. was born out of this need.
Our goal is to be a resource agency in the community. Educate on the importance of preparing before and after a disaster strikes. Build strong relationships with other agencies to unveil all available resources to help in the event of an emergency situation. Assist in recovery and rebuilding.
Stand willing and ready to help provide assistance to our fellow citizens in their need. Through the kindness and generosity of businesses and the community we've provided food, hurricane supplies, clothing, shelter, and financial support( upon availability). No single agency can effectively serve the needs of all our citizens. Experience has proven that it takes a collective effort.
