Experience has proven that it takes a collective effort and that no single agency can effectively serve the needs of all our citizens.  With hurricane season here, we at V.H.V. are ready to prepare 72 hour self-sustaining Survival Kits.

Recommended by FEMA, these kits are designed to help save lives in the event of a disaster. The Survival Kits will be distributed to our community's most at risk citizens: our seniors, disabled and others with limited ability to buy or access these life saving necessities.

We are asking for your help. Please help us save lives by donating batteries, flash lights, water, non-perishable foods, weather radios, generators or funding to create these kits . The Survival Kits will be dispersed from June 1st through August  31st  2007. With your help, we will also have a supply of these kits on hand to share with anyone in need in the event of a disaster.

We invite you to assist V. H. V in making a life-saving difference
